Finally got to the range with it the other day. I didn’t have any hand loads but had some good 168gr BTHP. No chronometer either, so I had to guess and check till I built my log book up. The DRAKE STALKER 308 SWS Rifle shot like a king, but my bipod broke so i didn’t have a great shooting position. High winds and unknowns with the rounds, as well as a lack of a spotter kept me from shooting beyond 600 but I still made good shots. Here’s my 6 round group at 400 yards. Not the best, but considering the wind and other conditions I’d say it isn’t bad.

Hey Chris…. Just wanted to tell you that I am enjoying my rifle so much. Using Remington premier match 175gn I’m literally shooing 1/16″groupings @100yds
3/16″ groupings @ 200,
My highway patrol sniper instructor shot a 2 3/4″ group @400 yds and I laid down a 1 3/8″ group….. He wasn’t happy but in the same sense he was pleased from what he taught me.
It is freaking fantastic!!!!!!!!!

Chris, here some pics of my rem 700 5r in your chassis. This is my dedicated night platform. Thanks again for everything. I am enjoying the rifle and chassis so much. We got another training exercise on the 8th of June. I’ll let you know how it goes.
