Chris,
I want to thank you, sincerely, for arranging for Monty to come all the way up here to fix my rifle. I was amazed with his skill and it appears he got the action/barrel trued up very nicely.
We even went out to test fire it. I can’t say I really noticed the recoil – that muzzle break is awesome. When Monty shot it, with me at the next bench over, I could feel the blast effect. The rifle got lots of envious looks and some nice comments.
I wish my eyes were 30 years younger so I could shoot better. Anyway, I think I’ll take it out again tomorrow. One of the many lessons I learned today, was the effect that temperature has on external ballistics. Of course, that isn’t new to me but it was very evident today, as we had about a 15-20 degree drop in temperature from when we started shooting, to when we finished. It made quite a difference.
You have a great friend in Eddie. He’s a great guy and a real pro. He is a natural teacher.
Your quick service was not at all necessary, but it is much appreciated. Any time you need a testimonial of your professionalism, service and commitment to your customers, please do not hesitate to ask.
Warmest regards,
Mike
